Describing Your Classroom
Classroom objects can be described using the colours and adjectives presented in colours and basic descriptive adjectives. For example: J’ai un grand cahier bleu. La table est petite. Le tableau est blanc. Definite and indefinite articles, as well as plural forms, are used in the same way as with other nouns.
Examples
- Dans mon sac, j’ai un livre, deux cahiers, un stylo noir et une gomme.Classroom items with the indefinite article. Noir agrees with the masculine noun stylo.
- Le professeur écrit sur le tableau avec un feutre rouge.The definite article le tableau; the adjective rouge is invariable.
