Vouloir que triggers the subjunctive. The indicative viens would present the arrival as a fact rather than as a wish.
Souhaiter que triggers the subjunctive, and être has the irregular stem soi-. The indicative es belongs to a factual statement, not to a wish.
Vouloir que triggers the subjunctive. The main subject is je, and the subordinate subject is tu, so the clause is required.
The two subjects are identical, so French uses the infinitive venir instead of a subordinate clause.
Souhaiter que triggers the subjunctive. Être has the irregular stem soi-, producing soyons for the first-person plural.
Préférer que triggers the subjunctive. The subordinate subject is tu, distinct from the main subject il.
Désirer que belongs to a formal register and triggers the subjunctive. Venir uses the stem ven- for the second-person plural.

When the two clauses share the same subject, the subjunctive construction is not used. French replaces it with the infinitive, since a clause introduced by que would require a second subject.
The subjunctive stem of partir comes from ils partent, and the ending -ions marks the first-person plural.
Aimer mieux que expresses a preference and triggers the subjunctive. The stem part- comes from ils partent.
Tenir à ce que takes the longer form à ce que rather than the simple que. The subjunctive follows as with every desire trigger.
The negated desire verb still triggers the subjunctive. The negation applies to vouloir, not to the mood of the subordinate clause.
